Larry was raised in Grand Ledge, MI, he is a Vietnam Veteran, a graduate of Ferris State University and has lived and worked in the 103rd District for 30 years. Larry has been an active member of the community since he has lived in Iosco and Ogemaw Counties and has held numerous positions in various civic and community organizations. He is a Life Member and current Commander of the American Legion Post #370 and the American Legion representative to the Michigan Veterans Trust fund for Ogemaw County. In addition, he serves as a member of the Executive Steering Committee and Board Member of Michigan Works/Region 7B and a Life Member of the West Branch Optimist Club. He is also a former Ogemaw Heights High School football coach.
Larry lives in Lupton with his wife of 41 years, Terry and has three grown children – Chris, Andy and Abbey. He is the proud grandfather to nine grandchildren.
